This work isn’t just what I do — it reflects what I value.
I’m committed to offering thoughtful, ethical supervision that supports good practice and cares for the person doing the work.

Hi, I’m Andy

Let's talk

Qualified & Registered

I’m a Registered Social Worker and the founder of Pursue Life Inc, providing professional and clinical supervision grounded in reflective practice, ethics and practitioner wellbeing.

With over 25 years experience, I’ve worked alongside people in complex and demanding roles across the social services sector, as well as broader leadership and professional contexts, both in Aotearoa New Zealand & internationally.

My approach is thoughtful, relational and practical, offering a safe and reflective space to make sense of challenges, strengthen practice and support sustainable professional growth.

Alongside my social work background, I’m a former PCC-level Professional Coach (ICF), bringing a strong developmental lens to supervision while remaining firmly anchored in social work values.

I work with individuals and organisations who value integrity, reflection and people-centred practice. My wider experience also includes coach training in high-responsibility environments, including Defence settings such as the Navy, which has further shaped my ability to support people working under pressure.

Experience that matters

“Qualifications are important, but experience brings a depth no book can teach. I combine both — giving you confidence in partnering together.”

Over 25 years, I’ve worked with a wide range of people: social workers, team leads, managers, chaplains, and individuals from diverse faiths, cultures, and genders. I’ve supported private clients, people facing mental health challenges, military personnel across many ranks, and others in social services at all levels. I’ve also delivered training and coaching to senior leaders, and early in my career, I mentored students and young people, shaping my approach to guiding and coaching others.
