New here? Welcome!
I offer external supervision for people doing complex, demanding work.
This work isn’t always easy! Yes it’s meaningful but also demanding and at times, uncertain. I know this firsthand from 25+ years working alongside people.
My role is to offer a reflective conversation where you can slow things down, make sense of challenges, and find clarity where you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of your next step.
You’ll feel heard and understood, and we’ll build on your practice in ways that make a real difference in your day-to-day work. And honestly, you’ll probably leave feeling a bit lighter and we may even have a few laughs along the way!
I bring a background in Social Work, alongside being a qualified and experienced Professional Coach with confidence in therapeutic practice.
I also work from the understanding that our personal values, beliefs and life experiences shape how we show up professionally. In other words, you’re welcome to bring your whole self into the session so we can work with the full picture and create real forward movement.

Your introductory session is free. No obligation.
We can discuss your needs, goals, practical details and what you’d like from supervision going forward.
"His clinical knowledge, practice & experience has far exceeded my expectations. He manages to weave his expertise as a Professional Coach throughout each session, so I really get the best of both worlds."

In case you’re wondering…FAQs
Who is supervision for?
1
Anyone working in either social services or people-welfare sector. This includes social workers, counsellors, practitioners, team leaders, managers and leaders supporting others in complex, relational, or high-responsibility work.
Is supervision online or in-person?
2
Most sessions are held online, as many clients are based outside Dunedin. In-person sessions are available where possible and can be discussed during your initial consultation.
What do I bring to a session?
3
Honestly, whatever is ‘on top’. Some people come with a list of topics, but many don’t. We start where you are at and go from there.
What about pricing?
4
Pricing depends on your situation and budget. Many social service agencies and NGOs have different funding capacities, so we discuss this upfront to find a solution that works for both parties. I always aim to make supervision and coaching accessible, while reflecting the value and experience brought to each session.
